A boy who brought Govinda’s legacy back on screen has some serious potential to be the biggest superstar of his time. He is the son of famous David Dhawan who is known for his comic films. An equally talented son of a multi talented father.

It will be no harm in saying that he is a complete package, he can dance well, he can act well as per situation and script and his comic timing is flawless and unmatchable. He grabs the audience attention and never breaks it, this is a big quality of a star. All of his films are commercially successful and earned good profits for the producers and distributors. As per now he is one of the safe bets that producers can invest on.

He started his career with much hyped Student of the year which ultimately collected 70 crores worldwide. Then he appeared in Main Tera Hero and Humty Sharma Ki Dulhaniya, both of them did some good business at box office domestically. His fourth film was Badlapur, which was a thriller and targeted for a niche audience but still it managed to collect a decent 40 crores at box office. His last two films ABCD 2 and Dilwale went on to collect more than 100 crores at domestic box office and Dilwale went on to become the all time blockbuster in international arena as well.

He is starring alongside John Abraham in Dishoom which is all set to release on 4th July. The scale of the film, action sequences and first look have already built some serious hype around the film and according to trade analysts and critics it is most likely to be the third consecutive 100 crores grosser of Varun Dhawan. His next to next release will be with Alia Bhatt in Karan Johar’s dream project Shuddhi. It is very early to give him the title of a superstar, but he has shown some commendable talent in his first four years only.
