What is it about: It’s an erotic thriller, which has a divorcee having tough time with accepting the fact that her Ex-Husband has moved on but she couldn’t, what she does in order to avenge forms the crux of the story directed by Denise Di Novi.

Why it’s disappointing: This film had a clichéd plot of revenge and to which Hollywood is not a newbie. But the disappointment lies in the treatment which was given to the screenplay. It was quite a laid back one, takes its sweet time to convey what it’s intending to. This kind of puts the audience in a mood, which is hard to make them come out of. It doesn’t hold the same intensity which the trailer was cut or the posters were designed. It did lures you in to the cinemas but does not deliver.

What to watch out for: What makes this thriller a gullible one, are its characters which were etched out well, and were played to its best.

Katherine Heigl can definitely boasts of this being one of her best with grey shades, she delivered a commendable performance. So did Rosario Dawson, who can play any role given to her hands down. And then there was Isabella Rice as Lily, who did a great job.

The cinematography by Caleb Deschanel was good and it was wound up with neat cut by Frédéric Thoraval.

Verdict: Denise Di Novi, drew a film which you can say a DVD or Netflix watch, because it doesn’t have anything to offer which a cinema going audience can enjoy. Can give this one a miss.
