Witty Humorous 2016 Movie Elvis & Nixon: To those who still don’t know of what is going on and what is it all about. The brand-new 2016 comedy-drama movie “Elvis & Nixon” is derived from a funny black and white picture which officially published by the National Archives back from the years of 1970s. Some would say “how on earth that could be the case?” for a serious politics to meet a quirky rock & roll iconic star, it’s just of unequivocal absurdity and it seemed to be a nation cruel joke. But the fact is, it did really happen, and the incident of our old friend Elvis Presley paying himself an unexpected visit to President Richard Nixon in the White House Oval Office (which took place on December 21, 1970) was firstly commenced by Presley.
This bizarre and somewhat fictional date wasn’t booked in advanced by any means, shape or form, but in this fateful morning, Elvis with his typically classy outfit, dressing in full sophisticated garb of velvet and lapels, a man in black appeared to be a friendly visitor who self-confidently walked up to the North Gate and presented himself to the security guards with a look-alike letter squiggly written on his flight, on American Airlines stationery. Therein, he offered himself to be of any help for his country’s drugs problem suggesting the fact that he should be given a legally badge as a Federal Agent in the Bureau of Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs in order to have all those Communist busted.
The letter, anyway, was reached out to the President, and somehow Nixon was completely on unexpected seduction, following his agreement on Elvis’s request that he would have a word or two with our Rock and Roll star. Elvis thereafter showed his absolute support for the President by expressing his wish “to restore some respect for the flag”, as well as since he had studied a lot on the subject of “Communist brainwashing methods”, he wanted to help his Majesty to preserve the Great of America. “What an exemplary patriot” – we might say that, but really? When it comes to Elvis, it’s a totally different matter, and perhaps this movie been coming out this year can take a stab at revealing all of our confusion away.
This surreal and obvious hilarious story is set to be directed by Liza Johnson, with a full cast of well-known celebrities, for American Beauty – Kevin Spacey will be in charge of impersonating President Richard Nixon, and respectively General Zod – Michael Shannon (Men of Steel) will star Elvis Presley – the famous Rock’n Roll Star.
As the matter of fact, the legendary Nixon-Presley Meeting this year may contain some of pulp fiction and irrelevant plots dotted to be more likely a joke, but still, worth for us checking out, as this historical and comedy film will hit theaters on April 15, 2016, and may we shall learn some answers for the biggest politically-funny phenomenon of all time.
