Thalapathy Vijay and Thala Ajith fans are known for their rivalry on Twitter and the real world. Recently, Vijay participated in the protest organized by Kollywood bigwigs in Valluvar Kottam, Chennai. Almost all the people on the internet appreciated Vijay for coming early to the protest and stayed till the end. But at the same time, the absence of Ajith was also criticized by the internet audiences.
As the criticism of Ajith started spreading like wildfire, a section of Ajith fans cooked up a video in which Vijay was seen sitting when Tamil Thaai Vazhthu was played at the protest venue. Ajith fans started trolling Vijay fans saying that the Thuppakki actor is not a true Tamilian.
But in the original video, it was revealed that Vijay stood up and sung the Tamil Thaai Vazhthu along with other celebrities on the stage. Dhananjayan Govind, former South business head of UTV was present with Vijay at the protest and he clarified that the actor stood up and gave his respect for Tamil Thaai Vaazhthu.
“Seen a cooked up video posted in various groups showing @actorvijay sir sitting while the #TamizhThaaiVaazhthu was sung by #Nasser sir & others yesterday. Totally fabricated video as he stood along with us & sang to inaugurate the silent protest was the fact/truth”, tweeted Dhananjayan.
Later, Vijay fans started trolling Ajith fans as their favorite actor skipped the Kollywood protest on Cauvery and Sterlite issues.
