Little super star has been struggling for past few years to establish his name in film industry which is currently filled with lots of competition. The actor was last seen in Sundar C’s Vantha Rajavadhan Varuveen movie last year which didn’t did well in box office and it also received mixed reviews from the audience. His last well worked movie was Mani Ratnam’s Chekka Chivantha Vaanam which had an ensemble star cast like Arvind Swami, Arun Vijay, Vijay Sethupathi, Jyothika, Prakash Raj, etc.
Venkat Prabhu on other hand has been struggling to release his movie Party which was wrapped up a long ago. He was directing Simbu in Maanaadu movie and this movies shooting was postponed due to issues with actor and producer and went the issues were sorted off and he started shooting the lockdown didn’t let them shoot longer than one month. The movie is still not resumed shooting and was confirmed by producer few days ago that the movie will resume once government permits them.
With all these buzz recently there is another buzz that Venkat Prabhu is going to shoot a new movie with Simbu after lockdown. This hasn’t been confirmed yet but it’s very disappointing if they drop the movie Maanaadu after all the buzz and eager created by the team for the audience and fans. The duo is hoped not to drop Maanaadu movie. This will have a great loss to the producer.
Venkat Prabhu is currently awaiting the release of his and Vaibhav starrer Lockup movie on Zee5 OTT platform on August 14. Simbu’s current work is Maanadu only and the controversial actor doesn’t have lots of movies lined up for him. Anyway let’s hope for the official confirmation from the duo instead of believing in rumours.
