Mirchi Shiva and director CS Amudhan are back with the sequel of their super hit spoof Tamizh Padam. Earlier CS Amudhan announced that the film will be releasing on May 25 but for various reasons including the industry strike, the release date has been changed. But Amudhan has sent a press release through director Venkat Prabhu saying that that the biceps and shoulder of his hero Shiva are outsourced to a studio in Los Angeles. The wrinkle removal and under eye work of his heroine is being done at a studio in Amsterdam.
“We had earlier announced TP2.0 release date as May 25th, 2018, but we had to push it due to technical reasons. TP2.0 has huge amounts of visuals effects (CGI) work, mainly to show our lead actors in good light. Consequently, the work on our hero’s biceps & shoulder had been outsourced to a studio in LA, California & the heroine’s wrinkle-removal & under-eye work to a studio in Amsterdam. Due to the massive amount of VFX required in these areas we’ve had to reschedule our release. But fear not, we plan to Meet you soon in theatres”, said the director in his press release.
Shashikanth’s Y Not Studios is producing the film in which Disha Pandey and Iswaraya Menon are the two heroines.
