Ghayal Once Again postponed till 5th February: Ghayal once again which was scheduled to release on 15th of January is now postponed till 5th February. According to few analysts it is better to release it in February to gather more screens for the film.
As we can witness January is a very busy month as Wazir is releasing on January 8 and it has gained a lot of momentum specially in multiplexes. The buzz around the film is very strong due to the presence of Mr. Amitabh Bachan and Farhan Akhtar. Then the most awaited film of January “Airlift” is releasing on 22nd January and that too is clashing with Kya Kool Hain Hum 3. Then not the last but Mastizaade is too releasing in the last week of January. All of these films have good potential of disturbing the collections of Ghayal Once Again.
As per the scenario we can deduce that it was a right decision to do so but there is one more side of the coin as well. February is considered very dull among the exhibitors as the last sure shot hit February has produced was back in 2008 when Jodha Akbar was released. The only productive week is the valentine’s day week. But that too benefits the movie with romance genre or love stories. The prequel Ghayal was a huge hit of 1990’s and turned out to be the second highest grossing film of the year. Sunny Deol won his National award for his film as well.
We hope this movie will do the same magic as its prequel did among the audiences and that is much needed for Sunny Deol’s career as his last clear hit was “Yamla Pagla Deewana” back in 2011.
