What is it about: Its comedy film, which involves a young lad who is trying to commit suicide after a break up. And how his friends, try and get him out of that notion forms the crux of the story directed by Mahendran Rajamani.
Why it’s disappointing: This film follows its heart, so nothing to complaint on that. Except for Pranitha, who didn’t quite fit the ensemble.
What to watch out for: The film doesn’t dull out for even a moment. It has a steady tempo of comedy throughout the film. Doesn’t deflect from its notion to make the audience laugh at the one liners and funny antics thrown at them. Director in fact did a great job in bringing good talents together, which worked in his favour.
Jai, was a perfect choice for the lead role. He brought a genuine aura required for that character. And he performed it like a piece of cake.
Three friends Karunakran, Naveen George Thomas & Kaali Venkat were a perfect trio. They were the highlight of the film, bringing hard laughs with their impeccable comedy timing. Commendable performances by them.
The icing on the cake was Rajendran, who had a small stint but a vital one boosting the comedy to max.
The cinematography by Mahesh was at its best and nothing more we can ask of him in this film. And it was smoothly edited by Gopi Krishna. Music by Santhosh Dhayanidhi was neat.
Verdict: Mahendran Rajamani, did a very fine job in presenting a light hearted comedy which was perfectly infused with one-liners and wittiness. And that was perfectly performed by the central characters. Definitely worth a watch.
