Creak Short Film Review: Lazing through the afternoon, I get a notification on Facebook stating you have been tagged in a post. I click on it to check and my friend Manoj Kumar Natrajan had tagged me in a short experiment of his venture “Creak”.
I go on to watch this short which is exactly 5 minutes short. Right from the first frame till the end it had the technical brilliance required for a genre of this kind. The writing and direction was crisp, which became the highlight as you have to engage the audience for a short span of 5 minutes and how well you could do it is a task every short filmmaker is facing.
Cinematography by Goutham George was good which was well mixed by Sync Cinema and was precisely edited by Abhinav Sunder Nayak. The team seems like a potential one, as for a short period the amount of work they have put in it should be appreciated. The DI was done by Boopathi Selvaraj from “Mirror Myth” and the VFX for this short film is done by RIOT VFX.
It has Radhika Prasidhha from Kuttram Kadithal fame as the lead.
Manoj did a great job in CREAKING this short, which kind of spooks you out in the middle of the day.
