AR Rahman and Thalapathy Vijay has worked in innumerable times and recently he has been working in all the last three movies released which are Bigil, Sarkar and Mersal. And Vijay has been singing lots of songs in his career from early stage itself. He has sung the evergreen pop hit google google song from the movie Thuppaki, Verithanam song in Bigil,etc. The actor has been even praised for his evergreen melody song Kandangi from Jilla for his melodious voice.
And recently the composer A. R. Rahman was interviewed by director Vignesh Sivan for a online media channels. The composer was asked various questions in it and they have been talking about many singers like MSV and various others. Then came the question regarding the actors who are also singers and specially about Thalapathy Vijay. The composer shared his experience during the song Verithanam recording scene.
He shared that Vijay asked me not to come to the studio while he finishes recording, he assured that he will finish with the help of his assistants. And the song was 60 percentage better than what he expected and for some little change they had to do few retakes with Vijay. The composer exclaims that Vijay has singing in his blood as his mother is also a great singer.
AR Rahman’s musical late actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s Dil Bechara movie was released in Disney+ Multiplex and this movie rocked the TRP and was viewed by 75 million people within its first 24 hours and it’s a record ever made. And the composer is current composing for Cobra movie starring Vikram, Srinidhi Shetty, Irfan Pathan, K. S. Ravikumar, etc. The movie is directed by Imaikkaa Nodigal fame director Ajay Gnanamuthu.
And actor Vijay was last seen in his movie Bigil which was directed by Atlee and he is currently awaiting the release of Master movie directed by Kaithi fame Director Lokesh Kanagaraj which also starrs Malvika in the lead roles and music being composed by Anirudh Ravichandran.
