Ponnambalam who was admitted in hospital for his kidney problems today gave interview with a channel and here is what he told about his experience. He exclaimed that he is ashamed that he wasn’t able to save anything for his kids. He says that everyone thinks Ponnambalam have crores and crores of rupees of assets but in reality he doesn’t even own a home for himself and still pays rent. He incurred lots of losses in his business.
Problem then started when he had a kidney problem but left it carelessly and later this problem became too crucial and he had to be admitted in the hospital. So in that he had to use every single penny from his savings and he ended up having no money for the future treatment. He mentioned that he was feeling shy to ask for help from actors but when he was in an unbearable trouble he called Actor Sarathkumar for help and he immediately offered to help without any hesitation.
And afterwards Kamal Haasan came forward to help him with the expenses, Rajinikanth too offered him help. He thanks each and everyone for coming forward to help him cover his expenses. The actor exclaimed that he wasn’t even cared by the stunt union and he is very depressed about it. He mentions that stunt team was his everything but they didn’t even came forward to atleast ask about him. He said that they didn’t even thought about him as a dog, if they did they would have come forward.
The actor said that he had suicidal thoughts atleast for twenty times during these times and he asks each and every person to take care about their health and other’s health. He again and again mentions that he is sad because he hasn’t saved anything for his kids for their future.
