SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali 2 is the highest grossing South Indian Film and it has also done record collections at the worldwide box office surpassing Bollywood films. Baahubali 2 has now won three National Awards for the year 2017. Shekhar Kapur, head of Jury of the 65th National Film Awards announced that Baahubali 2 is the Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment to the Indian Cinema for the year 2017.
Baahubali 2 was also awarded for the spectacular visual effects in the film and the edge of the seat action sequences. The producers of the film are thrilled with the three awards announced today.

The film’s one of the producers Shobu tweeted “Thanks to the Jury of #NationalAwards2018 for recognizing work of entire team @BaahubaliMovie 2 n awarding best film popular film, best action n best spl effects ! Congratulations to the entire team!!”.
Shobu also congratulated team Ghazi for winning the Best Regional Film Award (Telugu). “Congratulations to team of #Ghazi #Sankalp @RanaDaggubati @PVPCinema for winning the National Award for best film in Telugu !”.
