Jai Gangaajal Trailer Review: Prakash Jha is a director who always picks on the social and political issues up north, which involves corruption in law and order. Back in 2003 he came out with a movie on the same lines with Ajay Devgn starrer “Gangaajal” which went on to be a critically acclaimed movie. Even though this not a direct sequel, it serves the storyline on the same subject. The most interesting part of this film is its female protagonist Priyanka Chopra.
Priyanka Chopra is scoring sixes all the way recently and is on cloud nine with her success. With an international TV series, which centres around her character and with recent stupendous success of “Bajirao Mastani”. We will see her as a rustic cop, who doesn’t bow down to anything but justice. After Rani in “Mardaani” we can expect Priyanka in “Jai Gangaajal” to kick some serious *****.
Directed and produced by Prakash Jha, it has Salim-Sulaiman scoring the music with Sachin Krishn handling the camera and edited by Santosh Mandal.
The movie is slated to release on March 4th 2016.
