Bollywood Box Office Updates Jan 1st week: After collecting a mammoth collection of more than 30 crores in 3rd week, Bajirao Mastani‘s Indian net box office collection now stands at 170 crores plus. It has collected a good 90 crores from the international markets as well. The gross total has as per now is Rs. 336 crores worldwide. With this it has managed to beat films like Yeh jawani hai deewani and Ek tha tiger’s worldwide collection. It has all set to surpass the record of Bang Bang all by its 4th weekend itself. Currently it stands as 12th highest grossing hindi film worldwide.

Dilwale has lived up to the expectations if we consider international markets only but under-performed at Indian box office. Still with low numbers domestically it is still ahead of Ranveer starrer with some sound difference and has already beaten the collections of Bang Bang and is currently the tenth highest grossing film worldwide with collections of around 355 crores. It consists of gross 204 crores domestically and 151 crores in international markets. It will be difficult for the film to beat the collections of Krrish 3 which is 374 crores as the daily weekday’s collection has come down under one crore.

An unexpected fact is that Bajirao Mastani is ahead of Dilwale in North American region which is considered as the strongest territory for SRK. As Wazir has a limited appeal among audience and will totally depend on the word of mouth and Ghayal once again has been shifted to a later date thus Bajirao Mastani has two open weeks to cross the lifetime collection of 190 crores domestically. With this it will not only beat the collections of Bang Bang but it will also go ahead of Deepika’s previous starrer Yeh jawani hai deewani. Although collections were affected due to the clash and weak content of Dilwale, but still if we consider the numbers then it is a clear win-win situation for both the films.
